{"id":1337,"date":"2013-06-18T15:25:13","date_gmt":"2013-06-18T15:25:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ladymacblog.com\/?p=1337"},"modified":"2013-06-18T15:26:49","modified_gmt":"2013-06-18T15:26:49","slug":"bugs-and-buddies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.ladymacblog.com\/?p=1337","title":{"rendered":"Bugs and Buddies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am not the only gardener in the family.\u00a0 My husband and I planted a delightful little violet willow tree together, my 4 year old has been a very busy helper as I put in the seeds for all out vegetables and we have all been excited about the little plants we placed at the front yard, which should eventually provide us with a nice hedge.\u00a0 As a little pat on the back I even picked up a few pretty little garden decorations.\u00a0 It felt so official, I am a gardener, as I picked out GARDEN DECORATIONS.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>A little potted marigold came home with my youngest from Sunday School.\u00a0 We watered and pampered it for a few days and then yesterday he requested we plant it outside.\u00a0 Together we dug a cozy spot for it and popped it in next to some other happy plants.\u00a0 Patting the dirt in safely around the plant he said a sweet farewell to it.\u00a0 I let him know he could come and visit his flower any time he liked.\u00a0 The whole experience had him very pleased.\u00a0 A little gardening buddy in the making?\u00a0 I am truly thankful that I have the energy to garden this year, and the strength to take the time to include the kids.\u00a0 Gardening is best shared&#8230;
