I had enjoyed pregnancy, birth, and nursing  enough to know I would miss it, the nursing in particular&#8230; At first it  was a hurt birthed out of fear of leaving the familiar behind. Now,  with the advantages to this new stage in life obvious to me, the hurt  has changed to a longing.   Suppose it will always be a time of my life  that has a sentimental and bitter sweet hurting to each memory from  it.
