{"id":37,"date":"2012-03-17T18:25:00","date_gmt":"2012-03-17T18:25:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ladymacblog.com\/?p=37"},"modified":"2012-06-26T22:30:34","modified_gmt":"2012-06-26T22:30:34","slug":"butternut-squash-pasta-sauce-recipe-request","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.ladymacblog.com\/?p=37","title":{"rendered":"Butternut Squash Pasta Sauce (Recipe Request)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(I ended up altering the original recipe a lot so I tried to just  write out what I did here.\u00a0 If it isn&#8217;t working for you feel free to ask  me questions.)<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-l4H9Z76icqU\/T2DYO3kieAI\/AAAAAAAAOG8\/PBdKjl9YZAI\/s1600\/IMG_0719b.JPG\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" border=\"0\" height=\"266\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-l4H9Z76icqU\/T2DYO3kieAI\/AAAAAAAAOG8\/PBdKjl9YZAI\/s400\/IMG_0719b.JPG\" width=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>2 1\/2 cups butternut squash, peeled and cut into 1\/2-inch cubes<br \/>2 tablespoon butter<br \/>1\/3 cup onion, finely chopped<br \/>3 cloves garlic, minced<br \/>1\/3 apple chopped<br \/>1 cup fresh mushrooms chopped<br \/>1 cup chicken broth<br \/>1\/3 cup milk<br \/>3\/4 cup  Italian cheese blend (Parmesan, Asiago, and Romano) or just aged cheddar<br \/>1 tsp ginger<br \/>1 tsp paprika<br \/>1 tsp cilantro or dill <br \/>salt and ground black pepper to taste<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Fry the onion, garlic and apple in butter till golden.
