Aged cheddar  cheese toast (on home made bread), a cranberry\/orange dressed salad and  cilantro garlic wild salmon. Here  we have steamed Jamaican black rice mixed with a sprouted brown rice  that is dressed with lime juice and sea salt and pepper.  Next is some  boiled sweet organic veggies and steamed chicken with cilantro and salt  and pepper on top.  Of course the kids liked it enough to go back for  seconds and thirds&#8230; good old chicken and rice&#8230;\u00a0 I napped while everything steamed or boiled so it was a winning meal for me too.<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-9zHX_Wil6rE\/T07W4qFCPiI\/AAAAAAAAOAA\/uvMdp8qK5vQ\/s1600\/IMG_0704b.JPG\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" border=\"0\" height=\"213\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-9zHX_Wil6rE\/T07W4qFCPiI\/AAAAAAAAOAA\/uvMdp8qK5vQ\/s320\/IMG_0704b.JPG\" width=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p><span>Italian Venison Sausage with cilantro and olive  oil carrots and buttered cabbage.  My man is nuts about cabbage.   Finished off with some veggie infused chips.<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-dS8dzllyV-8\/T07W633TLVI\/AAAAAAAAOAI\/gYUOaO-AaFA\/s1600\/IMG_0719b.JPG\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" border=\"0\" height=\"213\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-dS8dzllyV-8\/T07W633TLVI\/AAAAAAAAOAI\/gYUOaO-AaFA\/s320\/IMG_0719b.JPG\" width=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p><span>WOW, this butternut squash pasta sauce was  thick and cheese-y.  Stuck to the whole wheat pasta beautifully.  It had  dill, garlic, sweet onions, an apple, mushrooms and aged cheddar  chopped up in it.\u00a0 This meal resulted from being almost totally out of groceries so we had dried  seaweed and carrot sticks on the side.\u00a0 We all enjoyed seconds!<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><span>~~~ <\/span><\/div>\n<p><span>To top it all off I found a fabulous recipe for a giant chocolate chip cookie!\u00a0 You eat it like cake.\u00a0 It makes a large 14&#8243; cookie or two smaller ones made in 8&#215;8 circular pans.\u00a0 The smaller ones work great to stack and ice together!\u00a0 So fun to try to decorate them differently each time!<\/span><br \/><span><br \/><\/span><br \/><span>Here is my altered version of the recipe:<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-LSOTXCPVzP8\/T07W2bSiypI\/AAAAAAAAN_4\/NwVckm-3dlY\/s1600\/IMG_0703b.JPG\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" border=\"0\" height=\"213\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-LSOTXCPVzP8\/T07W2bSiypI\/AAAAAAAAN_4\/NwVckm-3dlY\/s320\/IMG_0703b.JPG\" width=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p><i><span><br \/><\/span><\/i><br \/><span><i>THE Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 10px;\">\n<h3>              <span style=\"font-size: small;\">Ingredients<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>                    1 cup butter, softened<\/li>\n<li>1 cup organic sugar or coconut sugar<\/li>\n<li>                    1\/2 cup toasted wheat germ<\/li>\n<li>                    1 teaspoon vanilla <\/li>\n<li>                    2 eggs<\/li>\n<li>                    2 cups flour<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup chickpea flour <\/li>\n<li>                    1 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li>                    1 teaspoon baking soda<\/li>\n<li>                    2 cups semisweet chocolate chips<\/li>\n<li>                    1 cup chopped walnuts or shredded coconut (use the coconut when making this for school as our school is a nut free zone)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"border-top: 1px #ccc dotted; margin-top: 20px; width: 300px;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 10px;\">\n<h3> <span style=\"font-size: small;\">            Directions<\/span><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li><span>                    Blend butter and sugar together in a big bowl.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Beat in vanilla and eggs till fluffy.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Add flour, salt and baking soda and mix in well.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Fold in chocolate chips and the nuts or coconut.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Spread in greased 14 inch cookie sheet or 2 round 8&#215;8 cake pans.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Bake at 375 degrees for about 15 -25 minutes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Cool in pan on rack.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Flip out of pan and decorate.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span>\u00a0<\/span><span>TTFN <\/span><span><\/span><span><\/span><span><\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Haven&#8217;t done a post like this in a while!\u00a0 Always enjoy a collection of photos of successful meal.
