Walk With Me

There is nothing like depression to make you feel alone.  Alone is a terrible feeling… it is painful… and ultimately a terrible lie.

You can walk with many through life and be guarded enough to never really let them in.  Deflecting the offerings of love. You can believe that you can’t handle the risk of hurt… or you can discard the lies.

In Christ I may not feel it but I am never really alone.  Truth requires the stripping away of masks and the discarding of lies and the benefits we get from them.  Pain is not to be feared.  The fear will lead to more pain and pain that is more difficult to identify and discard.

So speak, even SHOUT, truth aloud, speak life and love, all humbly before your God!  Christ hears and answers, all in his time.  It is amazing what happens to the dark when even a flicker of light comes in… how lies crumble as soon as truth emerges… how death has no sting as we find the source of eternal life.

Walk with those Christ has given you, awake, aware and honest.  Ask them to walk with you, holding you accountable, mentoring and encouraging you forward.

Ask and receive the Spirit’s gifts, given to you to make it possible to walk tall through this world.  Jesus’s intimate love is there, more real then the seen.  Embrace the invisible…

“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!”

Praise God if these things are “being added” to you and your local Church community(ies).  We have not earned them, they are given in grace!  Jesus knows what we need.”
